Yeah, a dose of reality is what's needed. It's...I've only ever wanted to be a writer. It's what I wanted to do when I was five and it's what I want to do now, many many years later. It's what I one day will do. I think I'm lucky in that I've only ever worked part-time, so I don't have to earn a full-time wage through writing which makes it seem more achievable.
